Project: RED BOX
Project: RED BOX is a program that provides volunteer opportunities for students to help distribute large sums of period products to local homeless shelters. Volunteers will be able to choose from three different roles:
card designer
Create and decorate cards that include inspirational messages of at least 3-5 long sentences. It is recommended that volunteers include small appropriate drawings in the corners and include color. Every card should be half of an A4 letter (8.5” x 11”) paper folded in half.
package decorator
Decorate individual brown paper bags to hold parts of the care package. Decorations should be covering the front and back of the bag covering roughly 60-80% of the surface with color and design. Please refrain from using any wet and/or paint mediums (watercolor, gouache, acrylic) as we will not be accepting ripped/patched/damaged bags.
product donor
Donate menstrual products and other essential toiletries for bonus service hours.
